Please take note of the following information

 

• Each lesson lasts for 60 minutes, and there is a minimum of 55 minutes of practice time.

• The fee for each 60-minute lesson for Classes 5&7 is $75+5% GST, while for Class 4, it is $90+5% GST paid in advance.

• We provide one-on-one training in the training vehicle. However, one other person may be in the car for observation purposes as long as the student has obtained approval from the VIP Driving Academy.

• If you are unable to attend your scheduled driving lesson, please notify us 48 hours in advance by calling or texting 604-441-3187 or emailing us at vipdrivingacademy@gmail.com.

•  If you notify us in less than 24 hours or fail to show up for the scheduled driving lesson, we may not be able to accommodate the charge for that lesson.

• We accept E-Transfer (preferred) or cash as payment methods, and all payments must be prepaid.

• Please note that we do not offer refunds for lessons already completed. If you have a prepaid lessons package and wish to discontinue driving training, we will return your money after deducting the cost of the driving lessons you have already taken (each driving lesson will be treated like a single 60-minute lesson). Additionally, an administration fee of $45 will apply.

• All packages must be used up within 12 months from the date of the student's first lesson. Any remaining lessons will be forfeited after this date.

• Students must always bring a valid driver's license to their lessons. Without a driver's license, you cannot take lessons or operate a car.

• VIP Driving Academy reserves the right to refuse the use of the Academy's car for the road test if the school or instructor has safety concerns for the student driver or other traffic users.

• The student is responsible for any traffic violations incurred due to their negligent driving. If the student driver engages in a traffic accident, a deductible fee will apply toward the cost of the accident.

• Please wear appropriate and comfortable clothing during driver training. Flip flops or sandals are not suitable for driving.

• These policies apply to all VIP Driving Academy programs, including standard driver training and advanced post-licensing education.

Driver Performance Program – Additional Policies

The Driver Performance Program is classified as advanced post-licensing driver education and is subject to the following additional policies:

• Participation requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

• A Performance Evaluation & Orientation session is required prior to program entry.

• Instruction is conducted using the student’s own insured vehicle.

• All lessons take place on public roads within legal limits.

• This program is educational in nature and does not include racing, speed, or competitive driving.

• Vehicle safety systems must remain enabled at all times during instruction.

• Vehicles must be roadworthy and insured; unsafe or excessively modified vehicles may be refused.

• The instructor reserves the right to modify or terminate any session if safety concerns arise.

• Students must comply with all traffic laws and instructor guidance throughout the lesson.

• VIP Driving Academy reserves the right to decline or discontinue participation in the program if student conduct is deemed unsafe or inappropriate.

• Driver Performance Program sessions and packages are subject to the same cancellation, expiry, and payment policies as standard lessons unless otherwise stated.
